GanitPractice ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Somani EduTech. This policy explains what information we collect from you when you use GanitPractice, and how we use it.
When you pay for a practice session, we collect the parent/guardian's name and email address that you enter on our page. We do this because GanitPractice is used by children, and Indian data-protection law requires verifiable parental consent to process a child's information — so we collect the parent/guardian's details rather than the child's.
We do not collect or store your card, UPI, or bank details at any point. Payments are handled entirely by our payment partner, Razorpay, on their own secure page; GanitPractice only receives a confirmation that your payment succeeded.
We use your name and email to: confirm your payment and send you a receipt, manage your 60-minute practice session, and respond if you contact us for support. We may also look at anonymised, aggregate usage patterns (such as how many sessions are used per day) to improve the platform — this does not involve singling out or profiling any individual child.
We share the minimum necessary information with two service providers who help us run GanitPractice: Razorpay (to process your payment) and Resend (to send your confirmation email). We do not sell, rent, or share your information with any other person, company, or government body, except where required by law.
Session information is kept only for as long as needed to run your practice session and handle any support request related to it, and is not retained indefinitely.
You can contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request that it be deleted, using the details on our Contact Us page.
GanitPractice uses your browser's local storage (not tracking cookies) only to keep your practice session active while you use the site — for example, so a page refresh doesn't lose your progress. This information stays on your own device and is not sent to any third party for advertising or tracking purposes.
We may update this policy from time to time as the platform grows. Any changes will be posted on this page.
